Juliette, born into a Scottish circus family, started her singing career in the circus band. She also found herself working part-time with the acrobatic Cossack horse-riding team but, being the youngest member, got lumbered with the truculent mule... little could she know what a lasting effect this would have on her future destiny.

A teacher by day, Juliette is able to keep her vocal chords in trim by bellowing at her unruly charges to keep the class in order... and by night she's a performance poet and organiser of poetry events around Gloucestershire.

Juliette has eclectic musical tastes and has performed with a variety of bands including an original sixties rock influenced group. She even spent time as a 'living doll' (don't ask me!) supporting a celebrated tribute band.
Ê Ê Juliette has a great voice, imbued with soul and the blues, which is why she is particularly excited about being a member of Muleskinner. Fortunately she keeps her bagpipes locked away... but may play a wee tune on her harmonica.
